- Parallelism Similarity of structure in a pair or series of related words, phrases, or clauses.
ex. Easy come, easy go.
- Antithesis Juxtaposition of contrasting ideas (often affecting parallel structure).
ex. "Speech is silver, but Silence is Gold"
- Climax Generally, the arrangement of words, phrases, or clauses in an order of increasing importance, often in parallel structure.
ex. "I came, I saw, I conquered."
